Here is Stephanie in her high chair, she looks so big! I guess that is because she is getting bigger and more exciting. She rolled over today for the first time, I was way more excited than she was! 

Don't they look alike with their tongues hanging out!? Stephanie was in her exercauser the other day and she was drooling so Rachel thought she would wipe her mouth. Then Stephanie stuck out her tongue for Rachel to wipe that and they both were sticking out their tongues. After I took the picture I told Rachel that she had her tongue out like Stephanie and she said "that was the only way I could get her to stick out her tongue". I am still trying to figure out why Stephanie had to stick her tongue out in the first place! 

This is a picture I took last night, do you think Stephanie loves her big sister? I didn't know a 5 month old could show love for someone but now I know that it is very possible and she loves Rachel very much. I know the feeling is mutual and I can only hope that it continues! 

We spent Thanksgiving weekend with my parents at their house. Here are my parents with the Olson girls, and Rachel's dog Sarah! 

October 6th, 2004. Stephanie is 5 months old already! She started sitting up by herself today also...still a little tippy of course but getting the hang of it. 

Here is a picture of Rachel in the fire truck ready to go...do you think she is excited? I wonder if Gene looks like that in the truck when he is going to a call! 

The Sparwood Fire Department had an open house tonight so of course we went. Rachel went on a fire truck ride and also did the fire fit challenge, she had a great time. She said the best part was the truck ride. Go figure! She could do that anytime with Gene but tonight we got to stand in line for 30 minutes to do it so I am sure that made it more special! 

Stephanie in her exersauser. I wish we would have had one of these for Rachel, they are great. Stephanie loves to be in her's since she can see around most of the house and can also spin around to see the rest of the livingroom, and she can keep an eye on Rachel when she walks past. I think Stephanie's most favorite thing is Rachel which is good for big sister's ego! She loves to watch Rachel and 'talk' to her when she comes close enough. It is funny to watch since Stephanie keeps following Rachel with her eyes and Rachel keeps walking since Stephanie is watching her...good entertainment for both of them I guess. I am sure Rachel won't think it is funny in a few months when Stephanie can really move and follow Rachel! 

Can you tell Stephanie really enjoys her cereal every night? Most of the time she leans forward with her mouth open and attacks the spoon to get the cereal. It is quite funny to watch.
